PrimeX Ultra is a white pigmented shellac primer/sealer that primes and seals a multitude of surfaces. It is formulated to offer quick-drying, superb adhesion and the best available stain blocking technology available. PrimeX Ultra is best suited to prime the following:
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of dust dirt excessive chalky material, grime, grease, oil, wax, mould, wallpaper adhesive or any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. If unsure, always wash surfaces with appropriate cleaning solution, or solvent. Remove any unsound or poorly adhered coatings. Sand any remaining paint film edges smooth with the surface. Lightly sand exposed exterior wood with fine sandpaper. When priming over stained areas, first attempt to remove as much of the stain as possible by washing, sanding, scrapping etc. Spot-prime and fill all nail holes with a filling compound.
For best results it is recommended to apply two coats of primer followed by two coats of paint. Stir thoroughly before using. Apply with brush or roller.
