The Acres Hall Story
The Acres Hall Paint Company is a boutique Irish paint brand producing a stunning collection of over 120 carefully curated and richly pigmented colours, inspired by the subtle shades across the Irish landscape.

Our Story
Based in the midlands of Ireland, The Acres Hall Paint Company was born in 2019, when the Spollen Family who have decades of experience producing premium quality paint, set out to create a new standard in Irish-made paint. Here they would fuse the best of traditional craftsmanship with today’s know-how and the finest ingredients, to create a stunning collection of over 120 luxury, handcrafted paints inspired by the rugged beauty of the Irish landscape.
At Acres Hall, our locality holds a special place in our heart. Our premium paint range is named in tribute to the work of 18th century architect, Thomas Acres, who introduced a delightful expression of understated structural style and elegance to our hometown of Tullamore, and in doing so heightened our awareness of the beauty that surrounds us. His home, Acres Hall, designed and built in 1786, stands as a testament to his pursuit of timeless quality.
The exceptional standards Thomas Acres applied to his craft, we apply to ours, and today, we are delighted to bring to market a carefully curated palette of colours that offer timeless appeal, that are known and loved by designers and decorators across the country. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and we believe Thomas Acres would approve too!
Handcrafted To Perfection
At Acres Hall, all of our paint is expertly handcrafted to the highest standard, using rich pigments and quality ingredients to produce an exceptional range of eco-friendly paints in a beautiful palette of colours.
When you order from Acres Hall, you’re not getting a mass-produced product – our paint is made to order by our skilled craftsmen, to bring you a premium quality bespoke product tailored to your project.
Eco-Friendly & Low VOCs
All paints produced by The Acres Hall Paint Company are water-based paints that have very low VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
This means that our paints are low odour, which makes them safer and more comfortable to work with, while ultimately making decorating less harmful for our customers and the environment.
A Greener Business Model
At Acres Hall, sustainability is at the core of how we operate our business. All our paint is manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Tullamore, Co. Offaly which is based on a green business model and powered by renewable energy. All of our packaging is fully recyclable, and where possible we source our raw materials from local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint.
Made To Order Paint
To reduce waste and to ensure the very best quality in every can, all paint produced by Acres Hall is made to order. Additionally, all Sample Pots and Peel and Stick Swatches are made to order to ensure a 100% colour accuracy.
