PrimeX Excel is a multi-surface, water based, interior and exterior primer, sealer and stain blocker. With a unique blend of acrylic resins, PrimeX Excel provides unbeatable adhesion to almost any surface. PrimeX Excel is best suited to prime the following:
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of dust dirt excessive chalky material, grime, grease, oil, wax, mould, wallpaper adhesive or any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. If unsure, always wash surfaces with appropriate cleaning solution, or solvent. Remove any unsound or poorly adhered coatings. Sand any remaining paint film edges smooth with the surface. Lightly sand exposed exterior wood with fine sandpaper. When priming over stained areas, first attempt to remove as much of the stain as possible by washing, sanding, scrapping etc.
For best results it is recommended to apply two coats of primer followed by two coats of paint. Stir thoroughly before using. Apply with brush or roller.
